Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP)

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) products are molded by placing glass fibers into the mold. The dry fibers of molded fiberglass grating are wetted by hand or by injecting resin into a closed mold. The FRP products are cured prior to removing the mold resulting into a final product shaped like the inside of the mold.

How our products are produced?

  • Pultrusion : Pultrusion is a continuous molding process in which glass roving, glass matting and a synthetic surface veil are pulled simultaneously through a flame-retardant polyester or vinylester resin bath. Geometric shapes are formed and solidified as they are pulled through a heated steel die. Our pultruded shapes can be used to make structures of all types such as channels, square tubes and bearing bars for our Gator Deck pultruded grading panel. At the end of the production line the finished FRP product is cut off to a desired length.
